“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.”

January is almost over! How’s your meditation practice? I hope you to practice it everyday or at least during weekends. Mine is slowly getting into my daily routine especially when I run. Remember the tiny sketchbook from my last post? Been bringing it with me on my runs and while I cool down, I spent some quiet time listening to that still small voice on what verse to meditate on. So far, I’ve painted 6. You can check them out on my Instagram @aireescreates.
Actually, there’s already a Bible verse prepared for this week months ago when I conceptualized this project. But, this morning, a post from a good friend of mine, Love, literally jump to me as if God was telling to make an art on this verse now! During my quiet time, ideas freely flowed in my head as I did some sketches. I can’t wait to work on it so I took the afternoon off after “daughter duties” for my parents and went to Starbucks. For some reason, I tend to be more focused and productive when I’m at a cafe despite the noisy crowd (sometimes) than in my home maybe because I’m easily distracted by my art stuff (and food!)
As I meditated on His Word today, this idea of a plant flourishing with wide green leaves came to me. As we nurture our seeds of faith by earnestly seeking Him, meditating on His Words and promises, trusting and obeying Him, we grow blossom and we see our God-given dreams come to pass just like a plant. As I listed God’s miracles and doings in my life for the past 5 years, the more I am sure of His faithfulness in my future because I’ve seen how He worked in my life in the past! Like I always say, “I don’t know what the future holds but I know Who holds my future.”
Meditate on His Word By making a list of your God-given dreams that came to pass, blessings and miracles that made you #wowGod!
Tell Him all your petitions by giving thanks and trusting that if He did it in your past, He will do it again in your future.
Continue to “water” your seeds of faith by seeking Him and His Word everyday.
